Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

Continuing the Sci-Fi theme, LEGO had kids building a UFO for the April 2015 LEGO monthly mini build. Some call it a “space” theme, but since the builds have been an alien, a space shuttle, and a robot, I’m more inclined to go with my “sci-fi” label.

This month’s mini build was a UFO.

Where last month I felt The Little Brick did an excellent job of assembling it herself, this month she breezed right through the build… no help required. The build was rather fun… and this week our store was packed, because of the spring break holiday. However, without much difficulty, we were in and out of the build table in a jiffy.

There isn’t a parts list yet on Brickset or Rebrickable, but once one of them as one, I’ll come back and post it here. In the meantime, you can use the list on the back of the card that comes with the set.

Also, if you need the instructions for the build, you can get them at the LEGO minibuild website while still active, or download the LEGO April 2015 UFO Mini Build instructions here.

Did you attend this month’s mini build? How did you like the robot?
