What You Missed at Celebricktion – Part 2

Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

We had a late night last night at the local fair, so I’m just now getting around to uploading the second batch of photos for the Celebricktion 2015 event.

So here is another photo-heavy post:

There was tons to see and do!

The Island

And my favorite MOC of the whole show… or rather, I should say, my second favorite is The Island.

With so many details, I really enjoyed it. It was also a treat to see how it came together. You would think with the black frame around the water that it was all one piece, but builder Nick Ferguson of Bricks made it modular, just like the modular buildings produced by LEGO. This MOC snaps together in 6 pieces. Very intelligent design and I was left impressed.

I have a few more photos left from Celebricktion, but they’re related to our Winter Village MOC and a special project by Joe Meno from BrickJournal. Look for posts on those in the next few days.
