Toy soldiers always call my attention. They remind me of the festive holiday nutcrackers used for decorating at Christmas. So when I saw this LEGO Toy Soldier ornament a few years ago, I couldn’t wait to get it built and on our Christmas tree right away.
About the LEGO Toy Soldier Ornament
The LEGO Toy Soldier ornament is a 43 piece set released in 2019. The set is typical of all the other bauble ornaments, where you assemble the build and mount it on a round baseplate.
The build consists of the toy soldier and four wrapped gifts. The bauble itself hangs from a decorative red ribbon.
When originally released, it retailed $7.99 USD.
Building the Ornament
I really enjoyed building this ornament. However, I expected as much. That’s why I didn’t share this build with anyone else in the family.
Parents, you know what it’s like to have to share your builds.
Don’t judge me.
So while The Little Brick was away playing on her computer, I got to clicking bricks.
The ornament builds are very simple and this one follows suit. Once you open the bauble, you get the bag of LEGO parts and the folded instructions.
You could probably look at it and build it from sight. That’s how simple it is, which makes it a great build. If you have any of the previous year’s advent calendars and have broken down the sets, you should have plenty of parts to make this build if you can’t get your hands on one.
Final Thoughts
Simple, colorful build. And sweet googly eyes. It’s one of my absolute favorite LEGO ornaments. Not much more to say than that.
