Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

Just as promised, here is your on time reminder!

The September 2016 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Registration opens Monday!

The girl finally turns 6 at the beginning of the month, so we might be able to register for this event. However, since I’m not working out of the house, we may just skip them and register for the monthly LEGO Club meeting events.

This way, I don’t have to rush home in traffic to pick her up and drive back the way I cam for another 30 minutes to get her to the event. They’re also on a school night, which really wrecks havoc on our routine.

But for those of you that can manage all that disruption for the event, read on!

How To – September 2016 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Registration

Reminder September 2016 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Registration Opens Monday!

If you can’t see the photo above for the September 2016 LEGO Monthly Mini Build, it is a school bus! Perfect for this back-to-school time. The bus comes with a sweet little stripe and translucent 1×1 bricks and 1×2 panels for the windows and windshield. They even use a 1×1 red stud as the stop sign attached to all school buses. This build reminds me why I like microscale designs so much!

You can register for the September 2016 LEGO Monthly Mini Build through the LEGO website here: https://shop.lego.com/en-US/minibuild-registration. The event dates are September 6th and 7th.

Also, there is a new wait list system in place to allow those who didn’t get a slot a chance at one when someone cancels. If you can’t make it, make sure you cancel for those that want to attend!

Important Change to 2016 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Program

Finally, it’s important to note: the monthly mini model build events are now only open to registered LEGO VIP members. This means, if you are not a VIP member, don’t expect to be able to register. If you don’t have a VIP account, it can take up to 2 days for the account to register on all their systems online, so I recommend you get one setup today. You can register for a VIP account at: https://shop.lego.com/en-US/VIP/registration/index.jsp

By the way, I send reminders to register for those that asked while signing up for the weekly newsletter. If you’d like to be on that list for next month, make sure to add your email below:
