Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

You may or may not remember, since I never posted about this LEGO Ideas project, that the Maze was approved and is already in stores. This has become such a popular build that LEGO  stores are sponsoring a LEGO Ideas Maze Competition April 11 – April 15!

If you haven’t seen the LEGO Ideas Maze set, here are a few close up images for the set:

We’ve seen the Maze in stores and at LEGOLAND this week, but have yet to pick it up. It looks like a great idea, but I’m not a fan of the color scheme. Just in that, it doesn’t really call my name. I know I would end up replacing many of the colors.

However, if you’re a fan and have already honed your maze skills… or if you just want to try it out, you can get in on the LEGO Ideas Maze Competition starting today, April 11th to Friday, April 15th every night at 5pm.

This is the section about the competition on the April 2016 LEGO store calendar:

For those that can’t read the image, this is what it says:

“LEGO Ideas is launching their next big, voted-on hit — the LEGO Maze! Come to the LEGO Store to try the Maze out and compete against other kids or challenge a Brick Specialist. Whoever finishes the Maze first wins!”

From the wording, it sounds like the competition is only for kids. So, while it is not specified, I suspect the event is only for kids ages 6-14. Adults, don’t be upset if you get turned away.

Are you planning on testing your chops with the LEGO Ideas Maze Competition?
