LEGO Friends Amusement Park Roller Coaster Set Revealed

Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

If you’ve been living under a rock, like I have apparently, you will have missed this announcement coming out of the New York Toy Fair 2016 earlier in March. If you’re a fan of the LEGO Creator Carousel (10196), the LEGO Creator Expert Fairground Mixer (10244) and the LEGO Creator Expert Ferris Wheel (10247), you should be happy to hear that LEGO Friends Amusement Park Sets were revealed!

Since I was no where near the New York Toy Fair when the set was revealed, I have no personal photos to share with you. However, I was able to find detailed photos via Brick Toy News, Heartlake Times and BrickSet to share with you here:

LEGO Friends Amusement Park Roller Coaster – Set Overview

At 1124 pieces, this is a pretty awesome set to walk away with for only $99. It comes with:

  • the rollercoaster, of course,
  • 4 minidolls (none of these are new sadly, as they’ve all been seen in previous sets),
  • a ferris wheel,
  • a Drop’n Twist, and
  • additional filler builds like a turnstile entrance, food cart, eating area, etc…

It’s a good price for everything you get. We certainly plan on picking up the set when it releases in August. Hint, hint – birthday present…

Are you planning on purchasing the LEGO Friends Amusement Park Roller Coaster when it comes out?
