LEGO School Supplies for Back To School

We start back to school in 2 weeks around here and I’ve been thinking of adding a few LEGO school supplies to the mix for the girl. She’s just starting to get interested in writing and reading, so I’m hoping having some new things will get her motivated. I don’t really need a lot of supplies, since the school provides most of them, but it’s nice to have a selection at home.

I’ve had some trouble finding LEGO school supplies locally, so I decided to go to my second favorite online store, Amazon, to see what I could find. The LEGO Store is of course, my favorite store, but you probably already knew that.

These are a few of the LEGO school supplies I found there. I picked my favorites and gave you a few more options to chose from:

Moleskin LEGO Limited Edition Notebook

Hands down, this is my favorite item of all. It’s a little bit more in the adult side when it comes to school supplies, but it’s never too early to teach kids how to make lists…unless they’re like my kid and hasn’t learned how to write sentences just yet…

LEGO Pencil Case

This little guy is just too darn cute! Having a place to put all of your pencils is nice, since ours end up scattered at the bottom of a bin or just simply misplaced. Here, you can put them in the tube when you’re done and you’ll never have to search for a sharpener, since it’s part of the storage tube! If you’re an early Christmas shopper, this would make an excellent stocking stuffer, too.

LEGO Art Carousel

I realize this isn’t really something your kid can take to school with them. However, for those like my homeschooling friends, this would be a great addition to the designated school table! I’m even thinking of picking one up for my office desk just to add an element of fun to the mix.

Building Toy Backpack and Pencil Case Set

Yes, yes, this is not a legitimate LEGO item, but it was just too awesome not to mention it in this post. I wish LEGO would create regular backpacks like this, but I’m not sure there is much of a demand for them within the AFOL community. Hopefully, my husband eventually reads this post and sees this. (Honey… this is a great present for me! Wink, wink, nudge, nudge!)
