Behind The Scenes LEGO Disney Cinderella Castle Designer Video

Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

I just can’t get enough of the LEGO Disney Cinderella Castle. If you can’t either, you’ll definitely want to check out this video featuring one of the designers of the model, Marcos Bessa:

In the video, you’ll get examples of special details added to the set, in addition to some of the techniques used to end up with the finished model. Another designer, Austin Carlson, will also talk about his part in creating details and modeling the minifigures.

While the castle exterior is based off of the Cinderella castle, this set is called The Disney Castle (versus the LEGO Disney Cinderella Castle). When you watch the video, you can see why, as there are numerous references to many other Disney films. This, I’m sure, is also one of the reasons why you don’t get a Cinderella minifigure with the set.

If you haven’t heard about this beauty, I wrote a post with more details here:
