Merry LEGO Christmas!

It’s Christmas! I feel like we’ve been looking forward to this day since Halloween. Somehow it has taken forever to get here and simultaneously got here too quick. Regardless, I hope you’re having a wonderful Christmas morning with your family and/or friends.

We are spending time with family, so don’t think I actually wrote this post this morning. I’m knee deep in making orange cinnamon rolls, handing out presents and playing gift wrap trash collector.

But I wanted to leave you with something today to enjoy once you reach that inevitable downtime after all the paper ripping has ended…

Last weekend, I was looking at a scene in our winter village that always makes me giggle. In real life, I’d probably be more than frustrated if I stepped in some yellow snow, but as a LEGO scene it’s a different story. That’s when I had the idea of asking the Fans of LEGO Winter Village Facebook group to post photos of funny scenes from their winter village builds. I thought it would make for a Merry LEGO Christmas.

As not all of these are our photos, I did give credit by linking to a person’s Facebook page where appropriate. For some of them, I also gave them titles.

I hope you enjoy this lighthearted post with funny scenes.

Most importantly, please don’t forget the real meaning of Christmas is not the presents, but His presence.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:6
