We were watching a Christmas show the other day and I thought “why have we not made a Charlie Brown Christmas tree LEGO build for our winter village yet?” If you were like me, you grew up watching Charlie Brown at every holiday. When you start seeing ads for the special, you know the season has officially started.
My favorite scene from the Christmas special involves Linus’ speech on the meaning of Christmas, which he pulls from Chapter 2 of the Gospel of Luke. (If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing it, I’m just gonna put this clip right here for you.)
So as I sat there noodling, I realized Mr. Family Brick and I are notorious for adding minifigures and scenes that mean something to us in our builds. We tend to pull ideas from the LEGO advent calendar builds every year. How has it been that we have never done this?
And so off I went to go find some inspiration!
Ideas for Your Own Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
Here are 4 builds to inspire you to create your own Charlie Brown Christmas Tree LEGO build:
Charlie Brown Christmas Tree by Scorpio on Eurobricks
This MOC is the first search result that returned for me when searching for Charlie Brown Christmas Tree LEGO builds. Love the simplicity of this build, which uses a whip to add movement that mimics the shape of the tree we all know and love.

This MOC is really clever! If you haven’t noticed, the individual branches are actually minifigure arms and hands! Such a good idea.

This Charlie Brown Christmas Tree LEGO build is spot on with pipes as branches and plant parts acting as the tufts of green foliage on the sparse tree.
LEGO Ideas “It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown! by sNICKers77
I found this particular version of the beloved Charlie Brown Christmas tree as part of a LEGO Ideas submission. Sadly, it unfortunately never made it to the voting phase. Here, like in the previous build, they’re using pipes and plant pieces. But they’re also using droid arms to build the tree.
