With all the slowing down of last year, I was able to revisit many of my half-started blog posts. Still, I found I didn’t have enough time to finish them all out, but I was able to finally get around to completing this LEGO Snowman Ornament review!
About the LEGO Snowman Ornament

The LEGO Snowman ornament (853670) is a 25 piece set released in 2017. The set is typical of all the other bauble ornaments, where you assemble the build, mount it on a round plate, then set that on a round dome plate to slide into the bauble casing.
The build consists of a brick-built snowman. The bauble itself hangs from a decorative red ribbon.
When originally released, it retailed $7.99 USD.
While no longer available on Shop@Home, you can find it for sale on Amazon.
Building the Ornament

The ornament builds are very simple and this one follows suit. Once you open the bauble, you find the bag of LEGO parts and the folded instructions.
As I previously mentioned, this is a brick-built model. You’re probably thinking “Duh! Aren’t they all?”

And yes, they are. But what I mean by that is the build is similar to the brick-built BrickHeadz theme. You’ll start the build by bricking the snowman’s body, followed by the head. Once both are built, snap them together and voila! You’re just about done!

The build is fairly adorable from all sides.
Final Thoughts

This build was fun and cute…as most bauble ornament builds are, but doesn’t really rank as one of my favorites. I could have probably skipped this one, but I do enjoy collecting anything that intersects with LEGO and winter, so there’s that. I suspect if you’re reading this post, you do too.
At the original $8, it was worth the money to add to our ornament collection. On the aftermarket, you’ll probably want to be a true collector or just be excited to own it. ;)
Want your own? This snowman is already retired, but as I mentioned earlier, you can pick it up on Amazon.
