Many of you have been coming to the website looking for information on the next LEGO Monthly Mini Build. I, like you, thought the registration would happen on the first of the month each month, but if you read the flyer below carefully (like I re-read it myself the other day), you’ll see registration doesn’t start until the first day of the current monthly mini build.
For those of you who weren’t aware, LEGO changed the monthly mini build process as of last month. Starting the July 2015 mini build, you’ll need to register a month in advance of the month you want to attend. So, if you haven’t registered for this month’s mini build, sadly, you are probably out of luck even though registration is open until midnight tonight EST.
But, now you have the opportunity to register for the August 2015 monthly mini build starting tomorrow at 9:00am EST!
Just a reminder of the rules:

Obviously this is for this coming month. For next month, you’ll want to change the registration dates to July 7th – August 3rd, with the mini builds now happening the first Tuesday AND Wednesday of the month.
If you haven’t seen it yet, tomorrow’s mini build (July 2015) is a whale:
After an excellent series of mini builds this year, I feel as if LEGO phoned it in for the whale. It’s just not that impressive and lacks detail. Definitely my least favorite build so far this year, but kudos for creative use of slope bricks.
For August 2015, we’re back on track with an excellent LEGO Squirrel Mini Build:
Someone needs to make a nut for that squirrel to eat…
Did you remember to register last month? Are you planning on registering for next month’s mini build?
