Well, I hope you’ve had a great holiday break. We went down to South Georgia to visit with family, since we have one more week before we all head back to our normal schedules. (That’s why this is just my first post of this week.) While I’ve been off, I was reminded you can still find the LEGO monthly mini build on the LEGO website. Thought you might find that interesting, too.
As I was cleaning up from Christmas, I ran across the bags The Little Brick and I received when we went to a #BuildtoGive event. There, the LEGO employees handed out a few bags that looked suspiciously similar to the old LEGO Monthly Mini Build bags from in-store events.
That’s when I remembered one of our readers mentioned LEGO was still doing the monthly mini builds… Only now they are done completely online. After some digging, I finally found the website here:
If you noticed, the dragon, koi and panda builds we picked up at the event are also monthly mini builds from 2020. I wish I had caught on to this sooner, but at least now I know… and so do you.
Interested in building these sets? You can grab the instructions off the LEGO website for the year, but I believe once the new year rolls around, these instructions will get archived. In case you read this post after the new year rolls around, I’ve listed the builds and instructions for them here:
- January 2020 – Dragon
- February 2020 – Panda
- March 2020 – Koi
- April 2020 – Bunny & Carrots
- May 2020 – Garden
- June 2020 – Micro Birdhouse
- July 2020 – Friendship Day Cat & Dog
- August 2020 – Youth Day
- September 2020 – Literacy Day Unicorn
- October 2020 – Teacher’s Day
- November 2020 – Kindness Day Turtle
- December 2020 – Human Rights Day Dove
The hubs received a LEGO Classic Creative Box for Christmas, so I’ll be cracking into that to see if I can build a few of these.
