3rd Annual Books & Bricks LEGO Show on December 7th-8th

I keep saying I’m going to blog, but life just gets in the way! ;) But I have too much to share. So many posts to make. Let’s start with the 3rd Annual Books & Bricks LEGO Show December 7th – 8th at the Smyrna Public Library!

This will be the 3rd year we partner with the Friends of Smyrna Public Library to put on this fundraising show for their organization. The first two years we did it, Mr. Family Brick and I brought out our winter village, when it still looked more like what we had laid out in our original winter village post. Those were the days, when we could setup the winter village in less than 3 hours.

Last year when we did this show, we were hard-pressed to finish setup in the 4 hours we were given. It just wasn’t enough time. The Library was opening the show while we were still putting out people and trees. After that day, we’ve decided we wouldn’t be displaying the winter village for events like these, with short setup times. These days, we need at least 6 hours… but some days we prefer even more.

We still plan on having an amazing show at Books & Bricks! The LUG will be showing strong with lots of original builds, moonbase and a small town layout. You should definitely come out and join us!
