In 2023, LEGO released the LEGO Friends 41756 Holiday Ski Slope and Cafe. We felt it was a super cute set, but also super "Friends-y". For that reason, we never picked it up... but also, cost was a factor for us, too.

If you missed picking up this set, it's not your fault. The year it released, there were a ton of other really great winter village and holiday themed releases. It was easy for it to get lost in the great offerings.

What's So Special About 41756 Holiday Ski Slope & Cafe?

Lots! This set is bursting with snowy fun. At the time, it released the new LEGO Friends characters of Liann, Zac, and Aron, dressed up in their snow gear. They are ready to zoom down the mountain with skis and snowboards or relax in a welcoming café waiting where the Friends can sip hot chocolate and share laughs.

But that's not all - there's a secret cave hidden beneath the mountain. Plus, there's a playful snow fox which adds an adorable touch of wilderness to Heartlake City.

So Why Are We Talking About This Set?

Well, we did not purchase this set when it was available... and I think I'm experiencing some regrets. We have purchased other LEGO Friends sets, like the LEGO Friends 41323 Winter Chalet, but we tend to only pick up the winter-styled sets if we believe we can reskin them to match the original winter village stylings.

The other day while scrolling through Facebook, I found this thread where Jaci Kro had reskinned their Holiday Ski Slope and Cafe. As I went through the comments, I saw plenty of other people had reskinned their sets, too. Thought it'd be fun to share them with you so check out these reskins below!

It’s incredible how a single set can inspire so many different builds and stories. And as I mentioned previously, after seeing all these reskins... I do kinda wish we had picked it up. Ah... regrets.
