Microbuilds draw me in. Every time. Small builds packed with details are just amazing. They also feed my penchant for the LEGO Architecture theme. If you are a regular reader, I’m sure you already know that. And sharing this Winter Wonderland – Winter Village Architecture build will come as no surprise!
Description of the Winter Wonderland Build
Rebrickable user MOMAtteo79 created the Winter Wonderland MOC. This is his description of the build:
Winter Village is holiday subtheme of creator (now 18+) launched in 2009. It is one of the themes that brought me out of my dark age and I always wanted to create a small rendition of the sets in the Architecture style.
I make a minifig scale winter village at home each year and I really enjoy watching it during the holidays and maybe this moc will help those people that can’t make a big one.
I didn’t realize until I finished it but this came out with the highest piece count between my mocs. Anyhow the price is very well below 10c per part even if there are some big burp pieces.
Total parts: 1534 – 379 Different
Measures: 30,9 x 30 x 22 studs
24,7 x 24 x 17,6 cm
9.7 x 9.4 x 6.9 inches

Our Thoughts
There is so much to like about this build. He wonderfully incorporated many of the winter village theme sets from over the years. If you’re having trouble figuring out some of them, here’s the list of the ones I could identify:
- LEGO Creator Santa’s Workshop (10245)
- LEGO Winter Village Market (10235)
- LEGO Winter Village Fire Station (10263)
- LEGO Creator Winter Village Toy Shop (10249)
- LEGO Winter Holiday Train Set (10254)
- LEGO Winter Village Station (10259)
- LEGO Elf Club House (10275)
- LEGO Gingerbread House (10267)
- LEGO Ice Skating Rink (40416)
If you notice any others, please let me know. I’ll add them to the list above.
All in all, I love that the winter village theme builds are easily identifiable. Any fan of winter village would definitely be excited to build this MOC for display. I would personally leave it out all year long! Takes up much less space than our sprawling winter village. ;)
