Did you know that LEGO sometimes has adult building nights? The next one coming up is the LEGO Valentine’s Day Adult Build.
It’s been a few years since LEGO started adult building night events, but I think they’ve finally realized adults are an untapped market. We like to build, too, and we will spend a ton of money buying sets to do so. Since we are the ones who are buying all the sets for the kids, it serves them well to keep us happy, too.
Details on the Adult Valentine’s Day Bear Build
If you want to know more about the build, read the description from the back of the February LEGO Store calendar:
Adult Valentine’s Bear build
February 11
Come to the Valentine’s Day event just for our adult LEGO fans! Build an adorable Teddy Bear with a customizable heart for someone special just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The event has limited space and registration is required. Visit your local LEGO Store to sign up, starting February 4. This event is intended for ages 18 and over.
I know, I know… this isn’t the best picture, but hopefully you get the idea.
One thing to note, when they mention “customizable heart” in the description above. What that really means is that they will have the heart bricks available in multiple colors. Basically, you can choose your own colored heart… or color combination.
Since sign ups are February 4 (that’s today!) you’ll want to get right on that and visit your store to get a spot.
While this is not an appealing build for me, we went ahead and signed up. How can I say no to free brick and a simple date night with Mr. Family Brick?
