Get ready for a magical LEGO experience with the LEGO Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck build event! The make and take event is rolling into participating LEGO Stores on September 7th, 2025, from 12–2pm. It’s the perfect chance for families to build and bring home an exclusive truck straight from the Wizarding World.
What’s Happening?
On Sunday, September 7th, LEGO Stores across the U.S. and Canada are hosting a special Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck Build Event. Kids (ages 6 and up), parents, and fans of all ages can visit local LEGO Stores to create their very own Butterbeer Truck using brick-tastic instructions and then take their magical masterpiece home - for free!
- The event runs from 12pm to 2pm - but supplies are limited!
- Only one Butterbeer Truck per guest, and kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, it pays to arrive early!
- The event is not available at all locations, so check if your store is participating.
Why We’re Excited

We love when LEGO blends creativity with all things Harry Potter, and this Butterbeer Truck Make & Take brings a touch of the Wizarding World to real-world building tables. It’s a fantastic hands-on activity for families and pairs perfectly with a visit to the LEGO Store.
Also, this build is unique enough that it could be winterized and made to work in a winter village build!
Will You Attend?

LEGO Butterbeer Cart Instructions
If you missed the event, no worries, I did too. Fortunately, user u/Big_Gs_Bricks on Reddit attended and got great photos of the build that I put in a PDF for you to download here. If you find you need parts, don't forget the LEGO Pick-A-Brick site can help you get your hands on missing pieces. Good luck!

My grandson love Lego
But we won’t be able to attend
When will I be able to pay this Butterbeer truck in the store or on line
Thank you
Hi Ellen – Sorry to hear you wouldn’t have been able to attend the event. Unfortunately, you won’t see them sold in stores, but I’ve updated the post with instructions and a list of parts. You can potentially purchase the parts individually from LEGO on their Pick A Brick site so that your grandson can build the cart.
