New LEGO Botanicals Sets for Summer 2025

LEGO Botanical sets are "off-brand" for this blog, but I find myself drawn to them. Since I write this blog, this is what you get. (If Mr. Family Brick was writing for the blog, you'd probably get more Star Wars posts, so there you go.)

Aaaaand... since my birthday is a round the corner, we'll consider this me dropping some hints.

LEGO has announced Botanicals releases that are about to make your summer a whole lot brighter. If you're still reading, you probably love plants like I do. Or may you just want to add a splash of color to your desk. The LEGO Botanicals collection is expanding with two gorgeous new sets. The Hibiscus Flower (10372) and the Mini Bonsai Trees (10373) sets are releasing on my birthday - August 1st.

Mindful Building, Botanical Beauty

According to the press release on the 2022 LEGO Play Well report, 3 in 4 adults wish they could practice more mindfulness. LEGO Botanicals sets are perfect for that - offering a hands-on, calming escape that lets you focus, relax, and create something beautiful. And these new additions are seriously stunning.

LEGO Botanicals Hibiscus Flower (10372)

This set lets you build a show-stopping hibiscus with five big lavender blooms, bright yellow stamens, and a variety of smaller buds in different stages of flowering. The dark blue plant pot is included, and you can adjust the petals and leaves to customize your display. It’s a fantastic gift for flower lovers or anyone who wants a bit of tropical flair at home—no watering required! This set contains 600 pieces and will retail at $69.99 USD.

LEGO Botanicals Mini Bonsai Trees (10373)

Find a little peace in nature with this set, which lets you build and display three elegant bonsai models: a ginkgo with yellow leaves, a black pine with classic green needles, and a wisteria with delicate lilac flowers. The interchangeable foliage means you can mix and match designs, and two ornamental stands let you show off your favorite arrangement. This set contains 709 pieces and will retail at $64.99 USD.

Why I Love These Sets

So, I'm a little ashamed to say it, but I got the original LEGO Botanicals Bonsai Tree set as a birthday present when it first released and I have yet to build it.

1) because I keep hearing how delicate the build is and 2) I don't have a spot to place it. Let's ignore the second one, but yes, not a fan of fragile builds.

However, both of these new sets look amazing. They’re display-ready, look easy to customize, and I imagine would make awesome gifts for anyone who loves plants or LEGO.

What about you? Are you planning on picking up one or both of the new LEGO Botanical sets?
