You know what never wilts? The smile on someone’s face when they receive a LEGO Botanicals set! We’ve been buying these botanical sets more often lately, and they’ve become one of our go-to gift ideas for special occasions.

Why LEGO Botanicals Make Perfect Valentine’s Gifts

Speaking of special occasions, if you’re looking for ideas for Valentine’s Day, we highly recommend these sets. Unlike real flowers, these beauties never need watering, and they’re perfect for anyone with a green thumb (or those who wish they had one!). Plus, building together makes for a memorable Valentine’s Day activity.

Best LEGO Botanical Sets for Valentine’s Day

Here are a few sets that are still in production you may want to consider gifting:

LEGO Botanicals Flower Bouquet (10280)

LEGO Botanicals Flower Bouquet (10280) on Shop@Home

The LEGO Botanicals Flower Bouquet (10280) stole our hearts when it first launched. With 756 pieces, you can create a stunning arrangement of roses, daisies, and other blooms that look amazing on any shelf. The best part? You can rearrange them whenever you want!

We got to build portions of the set to decorate banquet tables for last year’s Atlanta Brick Con. They turned out to be such a great idea for a centerpiece.

LEGO Wildflower Bouquet (10313)

A newer bouquet set, and personally the one that I like the best out of the two, is the LEGO Wildflower Bouquet (10313). With 939 pieces, this set brings the charming beauty of a meadow right into your home. I love how it captures a variety of wildflowers – from delicate cornflowers and welsh poppies to lavender stalks and larkspur blooms. Plus, a bright color palette always calls my attention!

I will say that the welsh poppies have a similar build structure to the LEGO Sunflowers, so get ready for a little bit of repetitive building… but so worth it.

LEGO Botanicals Succulents (10309)

For succulent lovers, the LEGO Botanicals Succulents (10309) is a dream come true. You can build nine different plants and display them together or spread the love throughout your home. I personally am a huge fan of succulents and this was one of my favorite sets hands down!

Now of course, you shouldn’t limit yourself to just hte sets above. There are so many botanical sets to choose from, I’m sure you’ll find something for the significant other… or simply for yourself!

Shopping Tips

While these beautiful brick bouquets are available at several major retailers, the closer we get to Valentine’s Day, the scarcer they’ll become! But we’ve learned a few tricks for getting the best deals that we’ll share with you below:

Amazon

At Amazon, the LEGO Botanical Collection often appears in Lightning Deals, especially around gift-giving seasons.

Pro tip: Add the sets to your wishlist and turn on notifications – you’ll get alerts when prices drop!

We’ve seen the Flower Bouquet go for up to 20% off during these flash sales.

LEGO

While LEGO doesn’t run very many discounts, right now they seem to be breaking the mold by running discounts AND providing a Gift With Purchase sets.

Now through February 7, 2025, you can get the LEGO Botanicals Field Flowers (30701) polybag set with purchases of $40 or more Online Only supplies last!

As for the discounts, if you purchase both the LEGO Botanicals Flower Bouquet (10280) on Shop@Home and the LEGO Wildflower Bouquet (10313) on Shop@Home as a bundle, you’ll get 15% off both items AND the gift with purchase!

AND they’re also running the same special, 15% off of both sets + the gift with purchase when you grab the LEGO Botanicals Succulents (10309) and the LEGO Tiny Plants (10329) sets together Online Only on Shop@Home. Not a bad deal if you ask me!

Target

Target’s Circle program is your best friend when shopping for LEGO sets. They frequently offer additional 5% off deals on toys, which stack with your RedCard discount, if you have one. Plus, Target often includes LEGO sets in their “spend $50, get $10 gift card” promotions, making those botanical sets even sweeter.

Walmart

Walmart tends to price-match other retailers, but here’s the secret: check their app before heading to the store. We’ve found Walmart sometimes offers lower online prices with free in-store pickup. Their app also shows you exactly which aisle to find the sets in – super helpful during busy shopping seasons!

Quick Availability Tip

One last thing… if you’re hunting for a specific set, check all three retailers’ websites early in the morning. That’s when most stores update their inventory, and you’ll have the best chance of snagging high-demand sets like the Bouquets or Succulents.
