Bricklink LEGO Account Integration: What You Need to Know

Hey LEGO fans, we’ve got some big news on the BrickLink LEGO account integration! Starting September 18th, you’ll be able to use a single LEGO Account to sign in to both sites - no more juggling passwords or switching back and forth. If you already have a LEGO Account, merging it with your BrickLink account will be a breeze. If not, don’t worry - you can create one and keep on enjoying all your favorite BrickLink features!

What’s Changing?

  • One Account for Both Sites: You’ll only need one LEGO Account starting September 18th for BrickLink and LEGO.com.
  • Privacy Update: The LEGO Group Privacy Policy is changing a bit, so BrickLink data processing will be included.

Do I Need to Do Anything?

Maybe.

Have a LEGO account? Great! Keeping your BrickLink account active means merging it with a LEGO Account - otherwise, come December 31st, 2025, your BrickLink account will be deactivated and your data anonymized. That means you’d need to start fresh with a new account.

What if I don’t have a LEGO account? If you don’t, now’s a good time to sign up.

What About Account Identity and Display Changes?

We’ve seen that many sellers and longtime BrickLink members are concerned about how their usernames, avatars, and store names might be affected by this integration. Because LEGO’s trademark policies will now apply more broadly, there could be some restrictions on account names and images.

If you’ve built up your BrickLink identity over the years, it’s understandable to worry about losing your unique brand or having to change details. LEGO has indicated that some adjustments may be necessary to comply with their guidelines, but they aim to keep the process as fair as possible.

These changes also affect how your account and store appear to others, so it’s a good idea to review the updated LEGO and BrickLink policies as you prepare to merge your accounts.
