LEGO Insiders Weekend 11/18-11/19

It’s LEGO Insiders Weekend this weekend! I promise, I’m not trying to go back to posting more than once a week… I mean, just making sure I set expectations. Just didn’t want you to miss out on the winter village related extras you can pick up as a LEGO Insider.

What Is LEGO Insiders?

If you haven’t figured this out yet, back in August 2023, LEGO rebranded the VIP program as the “LEGO Insiders” program. They had a full on celebration with the relaunch, which included a global competition to win millions of prizes with LEGO bricks you had in your own home. They also celebrated with a treasure hunt leading to an opportunity to become a LEGO millionaire! (They used the word “millionaire” loosely, because what that really meant was that you had the chance to win $9000 US worth of points to spend in the LEGO Insiders Reward Center for discounts on sets, member-only merchandise, sweepstakes entries for cool collectibles and more.

So what’s the big deal?

Well, there are a few benefits to the new program such as:

Consolidated logins – If you had a LEGO ID, LEGO VIP, LEGO Life, LEGO Ideas or any other LEGO account, it was converted into a single account. No more trying to remember which username and password combination you used for which site.
Earn points online, in-store and at Target – The addition of Target for earning points is definitely a cool perk that didn’t exist before. We have plenty of friends who take advantage of Target sales in conjunction with their Red Card. If you’re a Target fan, this might make all the difference.
Earn points by registering previously purchased sets picked up elsewhere – Apparently, sets with QR codes on the building instructions allow you to cataloguing them on your account, for which you can earn points if not purchased via one of the three ways above!
