I've been enviously watching the announcements for The LEGO Americana Roadshow as it made stops all year long around the US. I had plans for us to make a weekend trip if it landed someplace close this summer, but it never really worked out the way I expected. Or so I thought.
You can imagine how excited I was to see this announcement on the back of the September LEGO Calendar:
I just don't know how I didn't see this sooner! At the roadshow, you'll get a close up look at the following iconic American landmarks in a larger scale LEGO model:Iconic buildings and architectural structures throughout the mall made entirely of LEGO bricks!
Coming to North Point Mall Alpharetta, GA September 19 - October 4
- US Capitol Building
- The White House
- Supreme Court
- Washington Monument
- Jefferson Memorial
- Lincoln Memorial
- Statue of Liberty
- Independence Hall
- Old North Church
- The Mini-Model Build during The Americana Roadshow at North Point will be Sat & Sun, Sept 26 & 27, Noon-4 (or while supplies last) both days. The set will be The White House.
- During the entire event, there will be a Scavenger Hunt that takes you to each model and when completed you bring your Scavenger Hunt form to the LEGO Store and receive a FREE poster.

I’ve been following the roadshow as well and wanted to suggest a minor correction: The White House and Liberty Bell are currently the two mini models that have not been offered yet. A mini White House has not been offered at a Make & Take yet.
Yes! You are correct. I actually had a quick conversation with our local store manager this weekend and he confirmed that the Make & Take Mini Build will be The White House for the Atlanta event. I’ll correct my information above shortly. Thanks!
Thank you so much for finding this out! I am eager to see what the model looks like. Would you be willing to share a scan of the instructions if you go to the build event?
Absolutely! I will probably do a roadshow recap with photos and post the build there.
