What LEGO Sets Would You Buy If You Were Given $1000 To Spend?

Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

Amazon LEGO Shop

Just a quick hypothetical question… let’s say you were walking by the LEGO store and and running out the doors came the store manager He races up to you and says – ‘it’s your lucky day – I’m going to give you anything in my shop up to the value of $1000’! (Seriously, this is one of my dreams!)

You’ve got an hour to choose what you want, it has to be a set, minifigures, baseplates or some other kind of LEGO item that you’d find in the LEGO store – what would you get?

You can get as many products as you like as long as they total $1000 or less.

Let’s use the prices at Amazon’s LEGO shop as a guide (they have most things) but don’t get too caught up in the details – really I’m asking what sets you want to bring home!

    1. That is a lot of LEGO Natasha! I would love to buy all the LEGO Elves sets, too! Sadly, our girl isn’t into them too much, so I don’t have an excuse to buy. ;)

      1. One can dream and imagine! If one a generous manager of a Lego store did give the gift of $1000.00 in Lego, you can race around and grab all the Lego Elves sets you desire!! Perhaps Little Brick will one day come to like the Elves and you would have them to share with her!!

But then there are so many other great Lego sets out there besides the Elves. . . City . . .Super Heroes. . . .and on and on and on. . . .

  2. Palace cinema $150
    pet shop $150
    Parisian restaurant $160
    toy and grocery shop $40
    jungle rescue base $60
    jungle bridge rescue $30
    jungle tree sanctuary $30
    cloud cuckoo palace $20
    winter toy shop $80
    Duplo big royal castle $60
    Duplo forest: park $60
    Duplo Sofia: royal stable $25
    Duplo treasure attack $30
    Santa’s workshop $70
batman and super angry kitty attack $10
That leaves $25. I’d pick some super hero stuff for my boy, unless I can use it at the online pick a brick? Lol Of course, I’d rather save some of this and use it on the bank and the new elves sets coming next year!

That’s a LOT of bricks, though – and doesn’t count what we’ve already bought for Christmas and birthdays!

    1. Yes, we’ve purchased a lot for Christmas already, too!

Interesting to see you have Duplo’s on your list. There are a few superhero ones we just saw the other day that I would totally pick up.
