Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

If you’ve been stopping by the website looking for the information on this month’s mini build, you may have missed my notice that children under 6 are no longer allowed to register for the event. This is why we haven’t posted information and build instructions for the September 2015 build yet. However, if you want to try and register your child for the October 2015 LEGO Monthly Mini Build event, you can do so at 9:00am EST today.

October 2015 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Angler Fish

The October 2015 LEGO Monthly Mini Build dates are October 6th and 7th. It looks like the kids will be building an angler fish. In case you can’t read the graphic, the calendar item states:

You can register starting September 15 at shop.LEGO.com/Minibuild-Registration to build the October Angler Fish Mini Model! Due to safety and build experience standards, builders must be between the ages of 6-14 to participate. The mini model must be completely built in store. Registration is on a first come first serve basis and quantities are limited. Stores will no longer accept walk ups on the night of the event.

The build has a bit of a monsters or LEGO Mixels feel to it. Should be rather fun and fit in well with all the Halloween stuff going on in October. Sadly, we will be relegated to registering for the LEGO Club monthly meeting so we can build it. That’s the reason you haven’t seen a post on this month’s LEGO mini build… we haven’t had our LEGO Club meeting just yet.

What are your first impressions about the LEGO October 2015 Monthly Mini Build? Think your kid will be excited to build or will you guys pass it up this time?
