LEGO Ideas Disneyland Microscale

I’m a fan of almost everything Disney. So when the designer of the LEGO Ideas Disneyland Microscale build contact me to take a look at their project, I was happy to not be disappointed!

The designer, Carlierti, has this to say about the project:

Hi Disney fans, I really happy to present you an awsome project named Disneyland Microscale! This project is composed of two big plateforms (which are the Disneyland plateform and the Disneyland Studio plateform) and of 13 small creations, which are the most famous attractions of Disneyland! The advantage of this project is that it isn’t an accurated set, as you have the possibility to place everywhere the 13 attractions on the two plateforms! The Disneyland park is inspired by the park of California, and the Disneyland Studio is based on the park of Florida.

I made a small animation with some elements of my Disney set! Good viewing!

I love the video, don’t you?

I especially like that both sets are lovely designs with easily identifiable park landmarks.

For the Disneyland park, you should recognize Cinderella’s Castle,  Space Mountain,  Big Thunder Mountain,  It’s A Small World (possibly my favorite ride ever), the Haunted Mansion, Autopia (which I have never seen), Jungle Cruise and Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Disneyland Studios includes the following attractions: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Fantasmic, The Magic Of Disney Animation, Hollywood Studios and the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. For me, these were harder to identify as I’m not as familiar with the park attractions as I am with the iconic Disneyland attractions.

Included in the set, you will also find minatures akin to minecraft minis of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy.

I really hope this project gets the votes it needs to make it to the voting stage and that Disney allows the project to proceed. It is a nice connection to everyone’s childhood of the happiest place on earth.

For full details on the project, please make sure to visit Carlierti’s LEGO Ideas Disneyland Microscale project and take the time to vote to show your support!

And while you’re at it, why don’t you share this post and drop Carlierti a line on Twitter to let him know you did just that. He would greatly appreciate it:
