Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

A few weeks ago someone asked me for Piragua Cart instructions. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, the Piragua Cart was the MOC I made at the beginning of the year for the Friendly Food February Building Challenge over at the Heartlake Times blog.

I’d honestly thought about not making instructions because what I built was inspired by an existing build. So I was flattered when a reader asked.

I haven’t built very many instructions. At least not with the LEGO Digital Designer. There’s a bit of a learning curve with it.

However, I’m super excited to announce our first official building instructions download… the Piragua Cart!

  1. Mrs. Brick, thank you so very very much for your instructions on building Piragua Cart!! I have been waiting anxiously for the instructions and am so excited that you have graciously supplied it for us. You even have a supply list!!! I am off to see what pieces I need to make your adorable cart!!! Thank you again! <3

    1. My pleasure! Make sure you send me a link to see the finished result! And remember, the colors don’t need to be the same so have fun with it!

  2. Hello Mrs Brick,

While following your instructions during our build, we noticed that the Lego parts that translucent get “lost” in the white background. making it extremely difficult to determine where the pieces are to be placed. Is it possible for you to change the background color of the instructions, as I am sure that I did not place some of the pieces correctly. We guessed as to where they were to be placed.

We did not use the colors you suggested and chose our own color theme. I am waiting for a couple of more parts to complete the project and when they arrive and the project is complete, I will send you pictures.

Thank you again for kindly sharing your instructions for your Piragua Cart.

    1. Hi Natasha! I’ll see what I can do this weekend. I’m not sure the program allows for changing the background, but I will let you know.
