Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

We’re cheaters. We’ve been cheating on our local LEGO store. We’ve been spending the week in Florida with family… and making regular visits to the LEGO store in Downtown Disney.

Our initial visit wasn’t just to go to the store, but also to celebrate the Little Brick’s birthday! Our brick off the old block (hah – I’m so punny) turned 4…

She had a blast!

If you’ve never been to this LEGO store, I guarantee you will find it pretty amazing.

When you walk up to the entrance, you’ll see a LEGO family on vacation. The Little Brick decided to pose for a photo with them.

Then you come across the awesomely huge Maleficent and the valiant Prince Phillip display. I can tell you this display has been there for the longest time, but I always enjoy coming to see it!

While under a canopy, there are a ton of of play stations to build at with bricks. However, this visit was the first time I noticed the dual race tracks in the center.

What I like the best about them is the LEGO-built starting cage where all vehicles wait for “start time”.

Then on the other side of the entrance is a LEGO display with a few of the seven dwarfs. I don’t remember seeing this display our last visit a few years ago, so I suspect it is new.

One of the things I like best about this store is that they have the largest brick wall I’ve ever seen…

Although upon closer inspection, a lot of the pieces were repeated multiple times on the wall.

Inside, the also have several LEGO models you can stand with for photos. Our brick, of course, gravitated towards Olivia from the LEGO Friends series.

And since it was her birthday, we walked out with an on-the-spot birthday present: LEGO Friends First Aid Jungle Bike Set (41032). The set is awfully cute with the little monkey ready to hang off of anything. I, sadly, did not get to build it with her, so I haven’t gotten a close look at the set itself. Her aunt decided she wanted to have her first go at building with LEGO, so I let them build it together.

We always love visiting this LEGO store and will probably head there one more time before going back home.

Do you have a favorite LEGO store you like to visit?
