Hitting Pause For the Week

Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. Thanks for your help!

I had every intention of writing blog posts this week, but as I sit here across from my daughter who is eating her egg and PopTart breakfast, I suddenly find myself wanting to spend this magical week with her… intentionally… and with full attention.

I still have work to do, but as far as my extra pursuits, like this blog, I will be powering down for the week – with the exception of the daily update of the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar, LEGO City Advent Calendar and LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar posts. I promised you guys I would update daily, and I intend to do just that.

In the meantime, we will be building cookie jar presents for neighbors, making Christmas crafts and starting to assemble pieces of our Christmas meal. There’s plenty to do and the fun is in doing it together.

I hope you do the same with your family.

And, if you find you have some downtime inbetween doings this week, don’t forget you can play around with the LEGO Minifigure Family Holiday Card Creator.

The girl as an elf… She was not pleased…

This was the first card I made this morning… until the girl saw it. She did not want to be an elf. She wanted to be the gingerbread person, but since they don’t make gingerbread an option for kid bodies, I just switched her out to regular clothing.

Take 2 - In regular clothing for the girl.

She was much happier.

And if you want to see what kinds of cards other people are making, you should do a search on the term “LEGO Minifigure Holiday Cards” to get a few good laughs.

So go… enjoy your families and your friends. Help someone one out. Spread some holiday cheer. Be in the moment and enjoy.

We hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

You can expect us back next week. :)
